Why I love Vancouver, BC thread
I love Vancouver, BC because all the walk signals sound like cuckoo clocks.

4. Audible signals here just have a series of clicks.
Fast clickclickclickclickclick means Walk, slow click...click...click...click...click means Don't Walk.

The cuckoo clocks sound cool!

7. The cuckoo clock sound is great.
But it's confusing when all the walk signs sound like cuckoo clocks.

Then again, I'm not blind.

3. It's not because a guy walking around in public with a joint gets no notice?
Except for the American tourist, of course.

Once this snow goes away, I'm due for a drive up there.

5. They make movies to
Some really good Sci-Fi comes out of Vancouver also.

They did StarGate, Adromeda, and some others.

They have a big film culture, I want to go up there and tourist around someday, its only a few hours from where I live, and think it would be fun to watch them do the filming stuff.

6. They are out-of-control polite, too.
The corner store people are polite.

Everybody is polite and nice. Happy to see you.

The drug zombies on east whatchamacallit street are nice, happy to see you.

Smart, polite, attractive Canadian citizens. A theme developing here.

I want to fuck them.

11. My dear swag!
Are you visiting Vancouver?

You've been among the missing, here...

I have only been there twice, and not recently, but I loved it too...

A beautiful city in a beautiful setting.

Happy Holidays to you and yours...

12. If obama had not won. that is where I was going to move....
They have that clicking light signal here in NYC also.
On 23rd St between 6th and 7th Avenues, there is a school for the blind. On the corners near the school, all the traffic lights/crosswalks have the clicking signals.
