This Seasonal Affective Disorder is for the birds.

I went to bed at 7:30 last night.

I still feel like I could sleep for another week or so.

And this year, I've been really diligent w/ my nutritional supplements, so I know it's not lack of iron.

2. I wish I knew.
Florida?

 I wish you better days this coming winter. I'm sure you've heard of light boxes; maybe one of them would help you.

3. Mexico! I know people who've retired and keep a small place in Mexico.
Very affordable. They winter there and summer at a lake house near their family in Nebraska.

6. A friend of mine who is a holistic-type person swears by
a tanning bed (the up to date kind), 10 minutes every two or three weeks. She has SAD and it is the first thing that has ever helped her.(She tried the lights, vitamin D, etc.) Maybe it would help you too!

7. My dear MissMillie!
You can move out here: Southern California!

Today, the sun's out, the air's cool and there's snow on the mountains!

We do have our share of gray days, but they are outnumbered by our sunny ones...

I hope you can find a realistic way of staying happy...

8. My doctor swears by the light boxes
or do a search on full-spectrum lamps/bulbs.

PM Oedi. He bought a lamp a couple years ago that seems to help.

I know exactly how you feel.
