Heath Ledger appreciation thread.....he saved my life....
A year ago when I went to the hospital for suicidal plans, I waited in the waiting room, yes they make you wait.......On the tv was a story about heath ledgers death, which I believe was no "accidental overdose" I started crying and promised myself I would live. That was about a year ago.....

3. I am very glad you were inspired to make that decision
I can relate - I had a similar epiphany once and have since felt that if it were not for the music of Pink Floyd, I would not be here.

Those are powerful moments.

And Heath Ledger was a phenomenal talent.

Heath's death affected me much deeper than any other celebrity death I've experienced. I don't believe he purposely OD'd; he loved his daughter too much to do something like that to her. Plus he was in the midst of filming a movie. I think he was just so tired and worn out and took too many of whatever and when he finally went to sleep, he just never woke up.

I still miss him to this day. He was an incredibly talented actor.
