Is it true that people in Wisconsin don't know what cornbread is and eat raw hamburger?

My Grandma was telling me that when my cousin Jason went to live in Wisconsin no one knew what cornbread was and people put raw hamburger on buns and would eat it. Is this true?

I do know what cornbread is.

and yes

raw hamberger--actually better cut-ground sirloin or maybe chuck.
on a piece of rye bread with a slice of onion.
yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

don't see it often amymore because everyone worries about contamination of raw beef.
and with the local chains...who knows what is in the package.
The are called by some cannibal sandwiches.

I enjoy good cornbread, and I don't put raw hamburger on a bun, but people I know do.
