Question for folks who know more'n me about baking pies
I wanna bake a punkin pie (Note: "Punkin" is the proper spelling.) for the annual familial festivities tomorrow, and by "bake" I mean mix it with Libby's stuff and milk and sugar and eggs and punkin pie spice. I don't mean heat up a frozen one.

I want it to be semi-warm when I go overdameadowanthrudawoods, so I'm gonna do the baking part in the morning. But since I'll have other stuff to do then, like bathe, I was wondering if I could mix it tonight and pour it into the shell, keep it in the fridge overnight and just stick it in the oven tomorrow. Would this mess it up any?

1. Might make the crust kind of soggy
even after being baked.

You could mix it all up keep it in a container and pour it in tomorrow morning.

2. I'd mix it up and keep in a separate container, put in shell and bake in AM.
The crust might sog up if you let it sit there tonight.

3. Don't put it in the crust
Make the crust and the filling, leave them separate, assemble and bake in the morning.

Oh, you may have to remix the filling in the morning before putting it in the crust.
