what's cookin' at your house tonight?
I'm still baking.

Pecan tassies, apricot rugelach, molasses crinkles, 7-layer bars, a rhubarb pie, some bread sticks, and then I'll be done until tomorrow.

Already in the cookie tins are blackberry jam thumbprints, spritz, chocolate buttermilk brownies, kiflings (also called mexican wedding cakes).

Smells great in here!!

7. I have a Honey Baked Ham, and a turkey breast from HBH store,
compliments of my employer. I think I am going to freeze part of it for later. Anyway, assorted vegetables and a chocolate pound cake, and my husband's ecellent homemade vanilla ice cream. My husband and I will be on our own tonight, we had Christmas with our daughter and her boyfriend last night and went to a great party at my brother in law's home, with great Mexican food. (his mother in law's homemade tamales yum yum)

My daughter and I went to church at 7 and had reunion time with many of her old friends from her childhood and highschool days. Beautiful candlelight Communion service, wonderful as always. Big crowd, as always.

8. I'm doing the green bean casserole (with fresh mushroom white
sauce, non of this condensed soup crap in THIS house *lol*)
We did a lot of baking in advance this year: Russian Tea Cakes (Mexican wedding cakes); apple-cream-cheese coffee cake with sugared pecans on top; mocha cakes; peanut butter/chocolate chunk cookies...
And for "main" eats, we're doing a lot of 'finger food.'
Ham, cheese (muenster, pepper jack and colby jack), crackers, shrimp, veggies and dip, little cocktail weenies...

I'm gonna have to really bust it to work off some calories once this holiday is over *lol*
