I still have one more Christmas to do.
Did the one with my husband's dad and wife. Did the one with my whole fam. Tomorrow will be husband's mom and her husband and extended fam.

I love Christmas, but can it be over already?

3. Yeah and I am already hearing shit because we drove
back home today instead of staying tonight. We are only 2 hours away so the drive is no big deal, but I had dogs to take care of and Bella is sooo out of her routine. Mom-in-law will just have to get over it. We will be there first thing in the morning.

I have found that in-laws are all nice and dandy UNTIL you have kids. Blah!

2. Same here. Extended family tomorrow.
I'm exhausted. I have been decorating, cooking, cleaning, wrapping, hosting, and on my feet since Dec. 20. I started shopping over Thanksgiving and went every weekend. I even went today to pick up some bargains. I'm ready for it to be over, too.

4. I know. I hate to rush it because I really do enjoy this time of year, but
it gets extremely overwhelming.

5. I've been to a couple of Christmas parties and have one more to go to as well
I celebrated with my dad and his family on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. On Sunday, I celebrate with the people who are closest to me.

I really like this time of year because I get along well with my relatives and I don't get to see them all together like that very many times. So, I'm not ready for it to be over. :) But it looks like you have a little one to attend to, and if that were the case with me I might find this time of year a little more trying as well.

8. I like the time after Christmas
All the stress, shopping and cooking is over and you can relax.

And then comes January 3, my birthday and the official end of the holiday season.

Happy first holidays to Bella!!

10. Nope. Can't be over until Epiphany.
I'm having a Twelfth Night open house for the church on, well, Twelfth Night. Among other things, to reinforce the fact that Advent is NOT Christmas season. Christmas season is.

11. Today was my third.
Edited on Sat Dec-27-08 12:47 AM by LibDemAlways
Spent Christmas Eve with my husband's two sisters and their families, Christmas Day with my parents close to home, and today I had my brother and his family over at my house since they spent Christmas at home by themselves, but still wanted to get in a holiday family visit.

I've eaten two prime rib dinners the past two nights and today prepared a ham dinner. I am so ready for some r and r. I understand exactly what you're saying.

12. Doing one tomorrow myself.
Heading down to Oregon to spend the weekend with my siblings. It's our first Christmas since Mom died, so it's especially important for us to be together.
