Hi, Critter's ex!! :hi:

Yep, I talked with him yesterday, and somehow the conversation turned to the episode where the beagle killed the kitten last summer, and he said "Yeah. I read about that". READ about it? I know I never discussed it with him before, and really didn't mention it to a lot of people--my assistant and a couple of other parishioners, the beagle's vet and obedience instructor, and my dad. That's about it. And I posted about it here just after it happened, for reasons of catharsis, I think. Well, he totally knew it had happened, and said that he'd READ about it.

I suspected something like this. He and I never spoke the whole time I was in Iowa (the most recent time), which is when I became vegetarian. And my friends and family completely dislike him, so none of them are in touch. But he knew I had become vegetarian. There've been other hints, too.

I don't mind, really. I mean, I know this is a public place. And I don't post anything that can do much harm, imo. It just strikes me as creepy. His mother was showing up in places I was on the 'nets after the divorce, which is why I don't have any usernames or addies with my real name in them. So, apparently, it's an inherited trait.

So, I thought the neighborly thing was to have you all say "hello!". :hi:

1. Howdy!
Not that you know me or I know her or I know anybody for that matter (except a shrink and Joe Piscopo, whose name might I add isn't in anybody's spell checker, how odd that is!)

6. Ain't it, though? Reminds me why he's my ex, though. Which is a good thing,
in its own way.

9. Will do. I'm going to Iowa for a few days, this coming week, weather permitting.
Then probably no time away until mid to late spring. I'll probably go north at that time. I'll let you know!

Maybe all the snow will have melted by the time you get a chance come here.

12. I hear you've got quite a lot! Ours is melting today...and becoming fog.
This can't go on forever. Can it?

13. It won't go on forever
it'll just feel that way. x(

We have very dense fog until 6pm tomorrow. Rain's moving in too. Nasty out there.

14. It's weird here. Foggy AND windy. I thought those two things didn't go together.
But there it is...a windy fog. And yeah, rain moving in here, too. I'm looking forward to a day with no weather advisories--no blizzard warnings, no winter weather advisory, no winter storm warning, no wind chill warning, no dense fog advisory, no flood warning. That can happen, right?

11. In your case, definitely creepy...
... that is of course presuming he never hung out here before you two split.

Which brings another thing to mind: what if there's a couple happily going away on a popular internet destination (such as DU) and then personal situations between the couple caused them to split... how would that work out? Does one party get to banish the other to Free Republic?

To to Mycritters2 ex - don't be a lurker, sign up for an account and CHAT!

Mark.

16. My user ID is my actual last name, so I post as if everyone I know could read it.
As it can easily be searched via Google. Just taking away some fun from Agent Mike if I ever come under scrutiny.

Sorry to hear about your ex. Just ignore and get on with things.
