That time of year again: SF Giants sign old player who used to be good

Randy Johnson begins the end of his career after signing on with the Giants.

Rumor has it they will sign George Blanda next week. Manager Brian Sabean said, "we know he's dead, but he's still got a lot of good years in him!"

2. Durham got traded due to age

At 36, he was holding down the median age of our lineup.

Dammit but our teams are managed by idiots...though I like Singletary.
