Sweetest way I have been awakened in years.
Edited on Sat Dec-27-08 04:52 AM by Just A Yeller Dawg
I fell asleep on the couch and my Labs had figured a way out of their room and BOOM!

Two excited and proud dogs were in the "forbidden zone." They were so proud of themselves and I was covered by 140 pounds of puppies in no time. I couldn't be mad but only chagrined that I hadn't completely closed their door.

Oh well. Another interrupted night. But worth it.

1. I love dogs
But I can't have one because I live alone and work so much. So, I guess I have to be content with loving other people's dogs. :(

2. Heh. My hound/shepherd mix got out of his room this morning, too. But instead of finding me to
brag, he crept around upstairs trying to sniff everything he could before I heard him and got out of bed. He's sneaky, that one.

3. I've got a feeling mine may have done that as well.
My black lab is sneakier than my yellow and the yellow seems to enjoy not being the alpha.

7. Ha! We have two, and I think that's exactly the way they are, too.
The (alpha) shep/hound gets himself into trouble, while the underdog collie seems to look pretty smug when the alpha gets in trouble.

6. 100% True.
My yellow IS Marley. My Black, OTOH, is a mellow fellow usually.

I read Marley & Me when it first came out and was amazed at how accurate it was.

5. My puppy dog jumps on my bed in the morning and licks my face.
Sometimes he brings me a present, like one of his toys or a rawhide. Its a nice way to start the day.

:hi:
