Wow. I had no idea Mitch Miller is still alive.
Per Wikipedia he's 97 years old.

I suppose most here won't even know who I'm referring to, but I still remember Sing Along With Mitch. I guess MY age is showing too!

3. I'm personally more concerned about Abe Vigoda.
Rumor has it he also still lives.

4. My first voice teacher in college sang with Mitch Miller on his TV show.
He used to tell a story about shooting a commercial for Fresca, I think, that used fake snow, and how hard it was to get out of your hair and ears and clothes.

My voice teacher sang in the cabarets of NYC in the 40s, but in his later years he became a Christian and wasn't fond of talking about that time. I, however, was fascinated and used to pry a few stories out of him when I could. From what I remember, he enjoyed his time with Mr. Miller. Hard to believe it's been that many years ago.

5. I feel like I'm losing my mind....
I thought for sure that I heard he had died about a year ago. But I couldn't find anything on it so I must have been dreaming.

I just played his Holiday Christmas the other day. I still have the LP and had it copied to a CD several years ago.
