Woodinville had lost electricity so they were hurting.
I flew out of Seatac yesterday morning at 7:45 aand I arrived in Atlanta in the afternoon.
Yesterday, I woke up at 3:00 am, walked the dogs, and loaded the car. I took my shower and then dressed in my winter gear. My traveling clothes were in a bag, because if i got stuck I didn't want to mess up my traveling clothes trying to push the car.
At 4:00 am I managed to get out of the apt complex (apt hasn't done shit to the roads and the entrance/exit hills). Got on 405 and it wasn't horrible but it started sleeting, not a lot of traffic. Takes me an hour to get to the airport and I planned on parking at the airport because my roommate was coming back the same day and she would drive the car home. Took my 1 hr to find parking basically because I had to look for someone to leave. I parked and changed clothes in the car, left her the big winter coat and her snow boots. Flight left on time at 7:45 am. Landed in Atlanta and I texted two of my friends and said, "Just landed in ATL - No Snow". Needless to say they weren't totally amused.
Note to self: Buy two shovels, Buy a snow blower
Lesson Learned: I would rather be over prepared than not.
Stay safe and Warm my friends.
