It was the very last day of a week spent in Utica, NY in June of 1999. I had gone up to meet an internet friend, and had fallen in love. It was just a half-hour before I had to leave and make the long, lonely 8-hour drive back to Virginia, but ThinkBlue1966 put this song on and we danced in the middle of the living room, with a light June sunstorm falling gentle and bright outside.

Time just...stopped.

That song haunted my ears all the way home, and has remained as intense and passionate for us nearly ten years later as it was that day.

I left my abusive husband two weeks later and came back for good. We've never been apart since. I was only nineteen, just shy of turning twenty, but I had no doubts at all that wherever ThinkBlue was, was truly home.
