So, I saw 'Marley and Me' today...it was actually really good.
It was hilarious, frustrating, and heartbreaking...very well done. I managed to avoid crying, but only just barely. I think most dog lovers will have trouble maintaining a dry eye in this one.

3. I accidentally started a semi-flamewar for saying she looked hot in some pictures.
Some people just can't stand her. I guess they have their reasons. :shrug: I think she is cute as a button.

So third grade.

Speaking only for myself, I don't hate the woman - I don't know her so how could I? I've never thought she was much of an actress and I don't think she's all that great looking - nice body but very ordinary face - in my opinion. Evidently that means I'm either jealous or a "hater." :eyes:

I'm glad you liked the movie. That's all that really matters.

I'm not defensive. Just trying to explain what the other poster was talking about, which I'm aware of because I was part of that train wreck of a thread.

I'm just always mystified when people label others "haters" just because they are not as enamored of whatever celebrity/personality they like. I really don't care one way or another about Jennifer Aniston. And I'm now sorry I tried to answer this question. :P

Haters is also just a generic term. I didn't actually mean there was a hate club out there full of Aniston haters.


Edit: There probably is a hate club out there devoted to certain celebs. But not on DU.

7. I don't think everyone who doesn't care for her to be a hater, but
I must say there were some posters (one in particular) who seemed to actually hate her. I never called anyone jealous of her either. I am jealous of her. I wish my body looked as great as hers does. From what she says, she works really hard for it to look that way. I am way too lazy for all that. She may have been airbrushed, I am not sure, but still.

Just once I'd like to watch a movie about an animal (or animals) that doesn't have an ending where the animal dies or some other horrible thing happens to it. To people like me, that's enough for more than one sleepless and miserable night.
