What did nuts do before the internets?
A local, shall we say, "interesting character" has started a, shall we say, "fan site" about me. He is trying to slam me, but he's actually posting some of my better old press releases and offhand one-liners, so I guess I shouldn't be upset:

The newest post is almost three years old, and is a release that dates back to my short-lived run for Congress in NH-01. The guy I "attack" went on to lose the Dem primary by a 2-1 margin, despite DCCC backing and a 10-1 financial advantage.

1. Yes, we got TWO "forum blackmail" messages from customers today...
Along the lines of "I'm a crankypants who wants something for nothing. Gimme gimme or I'll post on the forums how mean you guys are. So there!" **holds breath**

Had to spend way too long composing diplomatic replies without capitulating. I think I could get the middle east settled if I can smooth things out with these morans.

This guy is buddies with a crank who writes a city politics column for the local free weekly.

They have a little system worked out. Pest does something idiotic, like accost me at a television studio before a taping. Pseudojournalist reports it as "alderman acts hostile towards constituent". Pest files a formal complaint with the city, which is tossed out after thirty seconds. Pseudojournalist doesn't mention it.

Oh, and these two have circulated flyers, complete with distorted pictures. The only thing missing were the letters cut and pasted from the supermarket circulars.

9. Well, there's one thing
I listen to a lot of Clash, Dropkick Murphys, Social Distortion, etc, so that might worsen the situation!

I think I have some Gregorian chants and a Sinead O'Connor acoustic albm somewhere on the hard drive. That might be a good approach.
