Good morning Lounge

the last time this year. The next time I will post my "Good morning" thread will be January 12th and I will have moved into my new place. This afternoon (at 4pm) I will get my keys. That means I have to leave work a bit early today, around 3.15pm my time.

This morning it is freezing here. -7°C (19°F)

Because I am off the week after New Years. The reason is the move I have mentioned here and there :) I won't have the time to post.

I was at my mom's, so I was away from the move and the stress. It will get really busy coming week. But then the nightmare of a move is over and I can relax.

I went to the new Natural History Museum in San Francisco today...I will post some pics when I get a chance.

excited about the new condo, but not so excited about the move. Next year will be tight moneywise but the buying of the condo will help in the long run. I will have to find a job in the evenings so I can afford at least a bit.

Well, I can honestly say that I am glad you will be taking a hiatus from the "good morning" threads - then I won't miss DU so much at work ;)

Yesterday I actually really really cleaned my oven ... it looked awful and is now almost sparkling again.

may be a little miffed is she'd be doing all the work and you'd be chatting with us. :rofl:

I hope the kitchen in the new place is clean. Like I clean my recent kitchen before I give it to the new owner. I expect the same with the new kitchen.

I did a walk-through with my Realtor a few days before I moved to make sure everything was alright. The previous owners did a great job of cleaning up.

I rushed downstairs this morning and left harleydad with the munchkin so I would have a chance to see you before you leave. :bounce: Nice pic, but it looks WAY too cold!

It was cold. Pic was taken on a walk on Christmas Day in the Black Forest. But it wasn't as cold as it was this morning ....

Harleydad gave me this for Christmas and I took a bath in Roman Rosemary Lavender this morning. Yummy! It's from bathpetals.com and it's all natural. If I could figure out how to do it, I could make some from my garden. :rofl:

Sorry I'm late again. I had every intention of being up earlier, but at 5:30am there was a frenzied fight between my cats and a poor little mouse. I think it's the first time I've seen either of my two cats go after a mouse at all (and the first time I've seen a mouse in my apartment) and it was awful. I know they did just what is in their nature, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that...but I can't help feeling really bad for the mouse. And then I had to dispose of it after...:cry:


Anyway, didn't mean to make a big story of it, I just didn't get up as early as I would have liked.

I slept in this morning. I really need to go grocery shopping today. At least it gives me an excuse to get out of the house and away from the kids. Heh. Too much togetherness!
