How f'd up is it that the only family member to wish me a happy birthday was
my Sister in Law?

Brother...nope, forgot AGAIN.

Sister, with whom I've recently reconciled (at her request) after 2.5 years? Nope.

Mom and Dad get a pass, due to their current situations, but neither of my siblings called, texted, emailed, etc.

I did get a call from my Ex, who is essentially a family member, but he never forgets, he even called on my birthday 3 months after I broke up with him. He called last night to sing me Happy Birthday. :)

I'm not upset, I predicted this would be the case. Still, it's kinda fucked up. I always remember their birthdays.

3. Happy Birthday BiBaby- my family is so dysfunctional. That's why I've adopted all sorts
of others to fill in the gaps.

If it's any consolation, I forget people's birthdays all the time.

Not because they don't mean a lot to me, but rather that I get so busy and scatterbrained. I'll think, "Oh, so and so's birthday is this week..." but then the actual day will come and go and I've forgotten again until it's too late.
