RANT: The people playing GT5 Prologue online think it is Demolition Derby...
and it pisses me off.

There I am, accelerating down the straight with one of these morons behind me, I start braking at the proper point for the upcoming corner only to be RAMMED from behind by someone that thinks it is easier to slam into me and knock me off the track than it is to actually use their own brakes...

All that is assuming that I was able to run the gauntlet of bumper cars in front of me and get in front of someone in the first place...

 so very frustrating...

2. Not for me
and no, that is not the fastest way around a track.

3. Of course not.
But if it got them ahead of you, now matter how stupid, brutish and/or dickish a manuever, it will help them win that particular race.

I'd wager these are people who were raised on either GTA or MarioKart. :P

5. When are you 'onliners' going to learn...
For every one person who plays a game the "right" way, there are 12 self-involved little shits who will suck every last bit of fun out of the game by being asshats. You must be young. I learned this when playing Doom II with my coworkers back in '94. Supposedly well educated, intelligent people. Camping with the BFG. No lie.

7. My favorite are the people who know they have no chance to win...
...so they hide out in the grass for the pack to pass by, and just slam into whoever they can hit. Those people are awesome, and that's exactly why I haven't played GT: P in a while.

:banghead:

8. I wish there was a way to block those people from entering games with me
I could add to the list over time and just play with good people.

yesterday I actually got a message from a person I was racing against, apologizing for a small bump he gave me. I was floored and said it was ok and that I thought it was caused by the other guy acting like a jerk.
