Oooooh.
I've been bad. Last night I went out for a drink with my neighbours. Just a quick one... I didn't get to bed until 5am. Now I am nursing the mother and father of all hangovers and I think they have a lot of little baby hangovers on the way.

Plus I discovered I have a latent talent for karaoke. I can sing. Who knew?

4. My neighbours Cathy and Sarah asked me out for a drink
and I figured it had to be a whole lot better than sitting in the house alone and depressed. Hangover or no, I still don't question that decision.

but I actually LOVE Huey Lewis! Saw him in concert years ago and it was tons of fun (well, except for nearly being flattened by all the 30-something women lunging at the stage up front). Anyway, I say good choice of song! :D

Karaoke can be fun after getting a couple drinks in your system. One of my best friends and I sang a rousing rendition of "Enter Sandman" in front of about 200 patrons - and one dude even walked up to me afterward and placed his beloved Stetson on my head, as some sort of honor. :P

Does your hangover want to meet my hangover? I'd like to get mine out of here.

I went over to a friend's house past 11, not even to have a drink, but I had. Then, over the next several hours, I had maybe 5 - 7 more. I think I left some time between 5 and 7. Then, of course, I had to make a drunk phone call to a certain sweet lady in the US, and drink 1/2 a bottle of wine while talking for a few hours. I don't even know if "hangover" describes this... medical examiners would likely be amazed by whatever it is that's happened to me.

that would explain how I someone managed to pull muscles in my sleep.... it must be my entire cellular structure changing. Actually, I feel a little better now that I've been up for a few hours.... like, just a normal really really bad hangover. I think I should probably eat something.... the chip shop across the street reopened today. I think I might go there, but I need to be a bit more sober before I can actually interact with other human beings (if I am still a human being).

36. Cool. If you come back through the US on a vacation tour at any point,
come through NYC. That's one more thing we can definitely do while you're here. I don't sing, but I seem to have a lot of friends who are really into Karaoke (all women) so it would be nice to get together for a night out. :)
