Holiday weight gain. How much did you put on?
I started the year at 180-181, got down to 167 by the beginning of Nov. Stepped on the scale today 174.2.
To time get some discipline.

1. I have no idea.
I haven't weighed myself in months but I suspect I didn't gain much because all my jeans still fit the same way they did in early November.
I'll have to remember to eat more next year! :hi:

2. I have been afraid to weigh myself.

I'm trying to set up my class schedule for this coming semester so I can start skating again though. Hopefully my tax return'll be big enough that I can buy a season pass to the rink. :P

8. I've been meaning to pull the skates out too
I don't like to bike in the cold and\or dark.
Won't the tax return come to late for skating though?

12. The rink I go to is open basically for most of the school year.
They open end of September and close end of May. I wanted to get a season pass when last semester started, but I didn't have the money.

11. I used to get a free rink pass...
Edited on Thu Jan-01-09 11:45 AM by Chan790
by agreeing to ref the youth rec league games. It means being up at the crack of dawn on about 15 straight Saturdays and you have to take a class on how to ref those leagues and you need a basic first-aid cert.

But...you get to skate for free and they give you a kickass striped shirt and a whistle.

14. My vacuum cleaner was making menacing motions just this morning
I fear we are on the verge of an appliance revolution. :scared:

9. None, which is good and bad
Good that I didn't tip the scales higher, but bad, because if I had avoided the gingerbread cookies and apple pie and cannoli, I might have lost weight. Harumph. Okay, time to get serious about the lard. For real this time. I mean it.

16. Why would I want to know that?
I put on enough, this I know.

I'm not done being irresponsible diet-wise though... I have till Jan 4. I don't go back on the wagon till I go back to work.

17. About 5 lbs
Added to the 6 I gained in a week in October when my bcp was changed for various reasons. My last 2 jogging attempts have been kind of sad. During one a fire truck went by and I wanted to flag them down and get a ride.

20. I don't know, but my pants feel tight around my waist.
I've cut out a lot of sugar (man, those holiday treats took their toll) and I'm not drinking wine every night, only on weekends (well, and last night, it being New Year's Eve and all).
