Imitrex is now "generic"! :woohoo:
I picked up my monthly allotment (9 tablets) today and was pleasantly surprised that it only cost $5.00!

When did this happen? :woohoo:

but mine was $190 instead of $280. Obviously you have insurance.

3. Yes, I do, Sorry you had to pay so much.
Shoot....I didn't mean to sound insensitive.... I was just so surprised. I used to use those coupons that came in the mail from Glaxo. Do you ever get them?

5. Those $10 coupons?
Yeah, I've used them but its a drop in the bucket when the price is that high. Both the generic and the imitrex are wildly overpriced. I despise Glaxo- they make millions at the expense of people's pain.

6. Yeah, the pharmaceutical industry is fucked.
Definitely should not be a for-profit industry.

2. Wow, my insurance needs to catch up! I pay $30 copay for the real
deal, and they tried to charge me $45 copay for the generic! I told 'em to get stuffed and give me the Imitrex.
Wonder when BCBS will get with the program already...
