1. It's still not in town here
It'll probably end up in the art-house theater, which is currently showing Slumdog Millionaire. I'm looking forward to seeing it when it comes to town though, it'll be the first movie I've seen in the theater since Children of Men.

2. Yeah, we contemplated that because it was closer.
I wanted to see:

Slumdog Millionaire

The Reader (great book)

Doubt

Milk

My husband said it was my choice but I knew he wanted to see Milk the most, so we hauled ass as it was at the the at the furthest theater...and what a great cast---we both love Sean Penn (he's one of the best Hollywood liberals haha)

I really hope it wins some awards---James Franco was great, too.

5. Such a good movie.
Have you read "The Mayor of Castro Street" by Randy Shilts? It's a biography of Harvey Milk, and if you read it, you realize how historically accurate the movie is. Pretty cool.

6. I loved Milk and saw it the first weekend it was out. I also loved
Slumdog Millionaire, Doubt. I still need to see The Reader and I'm seeing Revolunationary Road today.
