I just spent 14 hours at Walt Disney's WTF Land in Anaheim
First visit ever. I saw Manifest Destinyland, Heteronormativeland, Postmodernland, Robber Baron Village, Patriarchy Mountain, Indiana Jones and the White Man's Burden, and the Post-Industrial Dystopia. Did I miss anything?

You can't have missed it. It's in the middle of the park.

You also seem to have forgotten Capitalism Alley, where you buy Disneyana and other crap.

I would have mouse ears, but they wouldn't put "Her Eliteness" on them.

4. Awesome.
My brother and I have had plans for an Anti-Disney World for 20 years, we just have not been able to become billionaires in the meantime.

15. $12, not so bad, considering
that at the very moment you think, "Hey, let's go to Disney," BAM! you've dropped $100 at least.

10. The original Disneyland was charming and fun. Circa 1977 or so was Disneyland's peak.
Disneyland jumped the shark when they took down "Mine Train Thru Nature's Wonderland," one of Walt's original rides and replaced it with a so-so roller coaster. The last Walt ride, as far as I know, was Space Mountain which is a good one. Ever since then Walt's original Disneyland has been slowly and inexorably dismantled and replaced by a commercialized, unimaginative, charmless remake, designed by dullards with none of the creativity and imagination of Walt and his gang. Sorry to say.

11. Did you go on a night when fireworks lit up the
skies? If so you might have encountered a security force that would rival anything TSA could come up with. Last time I was there I was threatened with removal from the park by a nasty teenager in a day-glo vest for sitting on a bench that was apparently off limits for fireworks viewing. So I sat amidst the mob on the pavement. Then the jackboots came along and insisted that everyone stand up - no exceptions. And the vast majority of sheeple just go along without complaint and look askance at people like me when they call "bullshit."

Walt Disney would probably be appalled at how his "guests" are treated nowadays.

17. We left before the fireworks
I saw very little security during the day, which amazed me. I thought they must have this down to a science, but apparently not.

two weeks after it opened. It was a wonderful place then. I haven't been there since 1972. I won't return, I don't think, ever.

Tom Sawyer's Island, where you were the ride, in exploring.
The Canoes, where the passengers actually provided the propulsion
The Mine Train.
The Jungle River Boat
Autopia

All were simple, non-political, and great fun for kids.

What's left is nothing more than a means to rip people off.

18. All of the attractions you mentioned, except for the
mine train, still exist. There are still some vestiges of the original Disneyland. However, over the years the place has morphed into an enterprise devoted primarily to separating people from their money in any way possible- from stiff parking fees (for the privilege of parking in the far reaches of the high-rise parking structure) to painful admission prices, stiff fees for storing stuff in a locker, ridiculous prices for cheap souvenirs and food. It is all a giant rip-off. I think Walt would cringe.
