They're all gonna be at the NYT about 11 minutes after graduation... except for those few who'll have to settle for the WaPo or the LAT.

half a brain, or does it mean the master's-less have less than half a brain?

16. I'm not earning my Master's. Does that mean I have a full-sized brain?
Or no brain and earning my Master's would give me at least half?

My position is one that you can substitute extensive experience for the Master's. I don't need the degree. In many ways, the Masters degree is a fairly useless degree in Biology...Most jobs either require a PhD or a BS with experience. I have several colleages that worked hard to get a Master's only to find it didn't make that big a deal jobwise...

21. A Masters degree in my line of work is as useless as tits on a boar since I have no desire to teach.

The only thing it would have indicated is a willingness to part with a large sum of money for no reason.

22. the MBA is the degre for people who cant DO anything, so instead they want to MANAGE
I also think that amid the current employment atmosphere, people who do nothing but sit in middle management, moving numbers back and forth will find their jobs more and more on the chopping block.

23. I think I have at least half a brain and I don't have a degree
I have a certificate, never had time to go to college. When the kids are all out on their own I would love to go to college for something interesting.

I earned my Master's long ago: perhaps I have 9/10 of a brain.
