4. That can happen from a pinched nerve in your neck
I had a partially herniated disc (C6/7) that caused twitching in my upper arm, and eventually atrophying of the triceps muscle.

but don't over do it. I have these great cocoa-flavored chewables, about 125mg a day. Magnesium is great for cramps, twitches and all that kind of stuff.
