Any other homebodies here?
During the winters around here, I hardly go outside at all, simply because I don't like it when it's cold.
Snow doesn't bother me, but anything 15 degrees or colder makes my feet hurt, then the rest of me gets cold.

So I stay home a lot.

3. Same here...
I could stay inside all winter. I only go outside to go to work and to feed the birds.

I don't even shovel the walk anymore. Hell, no one ever comes here anyhow.

6. I'm pretty much a homebody any time
of year. I don't like the excessive heat and humidity of the summer.

I was on short term disability for two months. I returned to work on a part time basis on Monday, January 5, 2009. When I got to work everyone said I must have been going crazy being at home. My response was no, it only made me look forward to retirement even more. As long as I have Internet, food, TV, books and music, I'm fine. There were days when I didn't leave my place and I didn't mind it at all.

9. Cold Makes My Leg Brace Freezing
Edited on Sat Jan-10-09 08:53 PM by otohara
thus, my foot and leg feel like a popsicle.
I only go out when it's absolutely necessary - for food and meds.
Grateful for Internet, TV, Napster and my cat Kiko during these cold months.

10. I am/was
But lately I've been wishing I was anywhere else. It really sucks.

I got no place else to go (channeling Richard Gere in "An Officer And A Gentleman")
