Home from a funeral, and so glad to see my house!
I did a funeral in a town about 40 miles north of here this morning. It took 2 hours to get there, and at some points I couldn't tell where the road was and was guessing. Most of the way, nothing had been done to the roads at all! I felt bad about being late, but arrived as everyone else was pulling in, too. Conditions were a bit better coming back...or I was used to it by then. It still took much longer than normal. My eyes are tired from looking into nothing but white, and my hands hurt from gripping the wheel.

I was grateful the family invited me to lunch with 'em, because I needed to rest between trips. Left at 9 am, just got home at 4:15. I'm staying in tonight!

How's by you?!
