Is it just me or are there a bunch that have been discontinued this year? Seems like I remember some kind of lemon shortbready thing that I absolutely loved...and I don't see it on the sheet this year.

Y'all doing OK? Can't remember the name, but my favorite was a cookie with oatmeal and peanut butter on the outside with a peanut butter filling. Similar to the Gaucho cookies marketed by (I think) Keebler in the 1970's
that's a good idea. I kinda doubt it, though. I'm a product development kiss of death. Truly. It's gotten so bad that if I like something, my SO'll suggest that we stock up because it'll be discontinued within a year.
It was bad enough having all of girly-poo's cookies stacked in the living room every year -- I can't imagine having everyone else's too. Not even for a little while.
When I was a teen I bought a box of GS cookies and wrote a check. The check bounced!!! They called me and I went downtown right away to square up with them.
It is up to the individual council which baker is used. The LA council sold cookies later and from the other baker than our council did last year. So I got both sets of cookies because I know someone from the LA council.
