Poll question: Rockford Files or Columbo?
Which one is better, in your humble opinion?

2. tough one, but for a regular one-hour program, Rockford.
Cool dude, living in a trailer at Malibu, I'd do that!

Now for your 90 minute Sunday NBC Mystery Movie, Columbo hand's down over the others, what were they?

One had Rock Hudson...Oh Yeah, McMillan and Wife.

The other was McCloud.

All fine shows.

4. Agreed, I'd watch either. What was up with Banacek?
Did they add him to the line up later on?

6. Banacek was a different night. I think it was rotating with Snoop Sisters and something else.

12. Rockford Files! It's not even close!
Rockford is a fabulous seriocomic crime drama that transcends its formulaic origins. Columbo is microwave macaroni & cheese, a show to watch half-distractedly when you're minding a recipe or doing laundry. Every episode is the same: Big-name guest star commits murder, Columbo pesters him until he collects enough inconsistencies to be convinced the guest star is the culprit, Columbo needles the guest star until he confesses, roll credits.
