9. Sounds like a great idea! Only time I've ever had trouble with clogs though,
was when #1 son put small toys down the sink, or his toothbrush down the toilet cause he hated brushing his teeth. :eyes:

Roto Rooter = not cheap.

22. Not bad thanks. Lil Missy...
Getting used to a new computer and Vista here. Spent the day trying to install new memory (which failed...bad memory stick), and sorting out my files. Pain in the ass.

26. I run Vista too, and man was that a pain in the ass to figure out.
I don't like it. And after a year, I have yet to figure out how to do an edit to the dictionary.

And I don't like that you have to set up a new profile account for each email identity. Was a big source of contention when my ex lived here.

Per Google maps...
She is about 28 miles from my sister in East Islip...

I just returned from that area...took a trip to Altoona PA, and then to Long Island...drove back upstate in a wicked snow storm. Nothing like driving over the Throgs Neck and GWB in snow!

Thanks for the hug for philboy...he hurt his leg in the snow today.

14. My ex had one, and raved about it! She could also start her car with a button on her key switch.
She had happy buns driving to work in a warmed up car and fanny warmer! :)

30. Yes, she did let me drive it. And wanted me to drive it more often!
Edited on Mon Jan-12-09 12:48 AM by Lil Missy
I just didn't want to, because it was a brand new car, a very nice one, and I'd feel horrible if I ever caused the first scratch or dent.

It did get "broken in" though. She had an Obama sticker that was defaced, and the entire side of her car was keyed. I'm just glad that didn't happen on my watch. What an asshole that would do that.

:hi:

35. I ttried a pair of those socks.
Maybe they were just cheap, malfunctioning socks, but there were "hot spots" in them and I couln't wear them. I'll just stick with my 'polar slippers', complete with heatable get packs.

34. If it wasn't for my back scratcher....
I'd have to wake up my husband at least twice a night. My second favorite invention is those little plastic "pincer" things that come with some coffee filters so you can "pinch" one out at a time. I've got a million of 'em.
