Facebook sign in questions

I was doing fine until I hit "Contact Information."

I don't know if I have an "IM Screen name", I know I don't have a mobile phone, I have a land line, but I'm not sure I want to blast it all over the internet, and the same goes for my home address.

Am I really supposed to fill all of this out?

Is this smart?

EDIT:

They are asking me for my life story, and my home phone and everything. Is this safe???

I do not have my phone numbers published on facebook, nor my address.

2. Thanks. I'm going to try to fill this out, but it doesn't seem to give me options.

But there are little "locks" on the side. I'm assuming that indicates that the fields are private.

I'm not sure if my profile was saved or not.

I would love to have my friends from DU see my site. I'm just new to this. I don't mind anyone seeing most anything about me except my address and phone. Everything else is fine.

I do want to do this. I just want to be careful.

This is so cool. There are so many people it would be cool to get in touch with.

I'm much more interested in getting in touch with friends from Democratic Underground than USC.

Is there some way to invite DU people to be my friend?
