Could there possibly be ANYTHING more irrelevant, these days, than "Miss America?"
I just saw two commercials for it (on the Food Network, oddly enough), and my only reaction was "who could GIVE a flying fuck about that?" - even though the commercials noted that the competition would be "hosted by Mario Lopez," whoever the fuck HE might be.

4. I was reading a people/US/OK type magazine at work last night. On the back cover
they had pictures of all the State winners and a scorecard so you could list your favourite Miss America pageant contestants in order of how you think they will win. I thought about it for a second and said to myself..they are desperate for viewers. IMHO
