Should buff out however if you aren't the buffing type, probably best to bring a flatbed.

2. Goodness. I don't think there's anything usable there.
Maybe the driver's seat. Maybe.

6. For just $11,000 more you can get one that actually, you know, works.

8. Well, it's not perfect, but for just happening onto the local craigslist...
...within a minute of reading your OP, and finding an actual 1998 M3, it's what I got.

Or, in the words of the seller of that car, it's wut I got. :eyes:

I'd rather have a coupe myself.

9. I am actually not in the market for a 98 M3
I saw that on the best of craigslist.

and I prefer the new sedans anyway.

10. Ah. That is a good catch.
I don't know what I'm in the market for. I just troll Craigslist just to see what is out there. If I end up getting my parents' 2001 Infiniti I30, I will probably snag an old Toyota 4WD truck or an old Subaru SVX. If I end up buying a new car, I will probably get an old sports hatch or something to play around with. Maybe an old GTI. Something. I dunno. We'll see what's in the budget.

11. Reminds me of a scene from the Simpsons:
Marge: Homer, I dont want you driving in a car that you built yourself.

Homer: Now you can stand there finding fault or you can knit me some seat belts.
