What do you do when a good friend of yours wants to date someone who's an asshole?

Well, said person is not an asshole all the time, but still. We went on one quasi-date, but we're friends now. By this, I mean the asshole in question, not my good friend. He, however, insists on causing drama related to said date, several months later.

They're attracted to each other.

I forsee much drama and bad, bad coupling.

how would you react if the situation were reversed? I know I would have thought "she's only saying that because she had a bad quasi-date with him". Then again, i am a bitter old hag :P
