Any ideas for odor killers?
Maybe you read my post about a dog who inadvertently was locked in a vacant house.

We're helping some friends deal with the aftermath.
We've pulled the carpet from the bedroom where Lucy 'expired'.
I've mopped the area with a Clorox solution.
It's better, but there's still a bit of punk.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

1. There are companies that deal with cleanups after murders and such. Have you tried one of them?
Otherwise, white vinegar. Lots of it. Smells ish at first, but it cuts a lot of smells. Also, "Simple Solution," found a pet stores, might help. Good luck with that.

5. Thanks. We're in 'small town' Alabama.
No forensics cleaners that I can find.
I'll try the vinegar.

2. Baking Soda and or Kitty Litter
coat the area with it and let it absorb the odors. There is also a liquid calls Nature's Miracle at pets stores that neutralize odors.

4. Did you air out the house sufficiently?
Maybe open all the windows, placing a couple of fans around the place, and really air it out.

Are their curtains? You might have to have them dry cleaned.

7. We're doing that.
There's a fresh breeze off the bay that blows through the house and that's helping some.
Yeah, we'll launder all linens, drapes, etc.
Actually, there doesn't seem to be any odor in them.
