So I'm watching Good Will Hunting on cable

The scene where Skylar tells the joke to Will's buddies, she tells some joke about God trying to save a man hanging over the edge of a cliff. :wtf:

Am I losing my mind or was that originally a different joke?

2. That's what I remember

This was some joke about a guy hanging from the edge of cliff by a blade of grass, calling out for God to save him. The heavens open up and God tells the guy to let go and he will take him to heaven. The punch line is the guy asking if there was anyone else up there that could help him? :wtf:

They also changed wiener to tinkle. Dubbed/bleeped words I've seen before, but never entire scenes.

Alternate versions for Good Will Hunting (1997)

* In the theatrical release, Chuckie gets angry with Morgan for using his little league baseball glove as "clean up." However in the TV version, Chuckie ends the scene with a curt "Why don't you do what you're doin' at your house." Also, when Will is with the first psychiatrist, the mention of "putting from the rough" is deleted.

* In the television version, Skylar tells a different joke in the bar scene with Will and his "brothers." Instead of the "kiss me" joke, she tells one about a man who is falling from a cliff.
