3. Is it sweetened with aspartame or Splenda?
I can't drink aspartame because it gives me headaches. Splenda no problem. Hansen's Diet Root Beer is great.

7. I love Dr. Pepper... I just wish they would switch over to Splenda. By the way,
did you know there is still one bottling plant that makes Dr. Pepper with cane sugar?

8. Yes, I did.
My husband is the big Diet Dr. Pepper drinker here. I don't think he cares what sweetens it as long as it has fizz in it. :eyes:

12. Actually, I think Splenda may cause me problems too
We ditched sugar and have been using Splenda for about a year now, but I do get some mysterious headaches at the back of my head, above my neck. I wonder if Splenda could be the cause. They are not nearly as bad as the aspartame headaches I used to get.

10. uh, no thanks...if it was regular, I'd jump on it
but, I can't do diet.

I have PKU - those warnings on diet sodas (those with aspartame) - that applies to me.

And although I can have Splenda, and like it...it works like a diuretic on me...not great as I'm also on a diuretic for my blood pressure...

Oh, well, maybe truvia will be approved for soda and will work for me...until something usable is available for diet sodas, I'll stick to regular...and just limit my intake.
