What, in his ping-pong ball of a brain, tells him that this is the right way to go about things?

1. Obviously, the tile is the cat's territory; the carpet is now yours.

It's how a feline Les Nessman outlines the borders of its office.

Cats ALWAYS aim for carpet and upholstery.

Come to think of it, dogs do too. While we are at it, so do kids.

That's why Woolite is a household name. The opportunistic bastards know that fact. That's why they make a killing selling things to make the pukey stank 'n' stains go away.

2. That's a Cat Rule.
A cat must never hurl on a smooth surface, even if he or she is standing on one. A cat must always yack on upholstery or carpeting, especially if it is a light colored shag.

This is nearly as important as the Cat Rule that requires the presence of at least one cat any time a human is occupying a bathroom.

4. It is also equally important to the "No closed doors" rule as well.
No doors shall be closed in the presence of any feline. Else wise, SOMEbody is going to hear about it.

3. I know it's mean
but I think it's funny when cats hurl, they really get into it :puke:

5. That just reminded me of that episode of Family Guy where Peter
was surrounded by a bunch of mangy looking cats and one of them started into that thing cats do before the puke.

8. Count yourself lucky - my cat has learned to stand squarely on the
freshly-washed bedding while he vomits, pees, or poops on the freshly-washed bedding. I wish he'd just stick to communicating using his voice and claws, rather than bringing in the excretory processes...
