I must say so again. This flashing collar for my dog is a godsend.

He camps out in the damnedest places. At the fear of repeating myself, he is deaf, and this causes problems. He cannot hear me walk around in the dark, and doesn't move. This causes accidents! I had nightlights and would shuffle my feet in the dark, but it was not foolproof. I sure hate stepping on the pooch, and I do not want to trip and break my face again. This blinking collar, it keeps both of us safe. I love this! :bounce:

4. Hey. I've had PM's. Mostly helpful and supportive. Here's the deal.

There are no circumstances, whatsoever, that I would abandon my pooch. He still thinks he's a puppy! If he should ever get to a point that he is so miserable that he should be put to sleep, then I will deal with that when the time comes. It's just not going to happen in the near future.

6. Oh, I don't think he likes it, LOL!

He's getting accustomed now. Christ, I don't want to step on him and break his leg. Or tail, or face. I think the cats even know and are trying to help him. He is so funny. He's "hiding" on the couch under a blanket. I can see the blinking lights! :rofl: I'll play dumb. He wins. LOL!

14. He sounds like a comical little guy.

I am relieved you are humoring him; it must be hard to lose one of your senses. You know I have seen three legged dogs and cats and they go about business as usual, however, I have seen them newly deprived of a leg and it does take time. I think it is adorable that the cats are looking out for him.

7. My brother had a dog who went blind...

She lived happily for several years before she had to be put to sleep. They were just really careful not to move any furniture around, and she managed just fine.

8. Oh geeze! Yes, it can always be worse.

If he became blind, I would accommodate that somehow. He's deaf now, and I will make the rest of his life as happy and safe as possible. He has certainly earned it. And he is pretty adorable anyways.

10. Mine certainly would.

Did I mention, he knows when I am getting really sick before I know? He knows! Took me a couple times to figure it out. But, when he crawls all over me and camps out on top of me, he knows I am sicker than shit! :hug:
