I was just really mean to one of my dogs.
It's 30 degrees out or something, and I just let another troupe of dogs out. I had the door open for 10 or 15 seconds to get them all out. Anyway, my hands got very cold doing this task. When I got back into the living area of the house, my snotweiler dog saw me and rolled onto his back for chest scratchers. I started doing that, but then I put my cold hands on his very warm belly. He didn't seem to mind, but I felt mean in having done it.

10. hmmm, I felt bad for dragging my dogs in from the snow when I lost feeling in my hands
They were making doggy snow angels, burying their heads in the snow, and playing king-of-the-mountain on the snow plow piles.

It's 0oF here.

19. My mom left her 17year old cat outside during Katrina.
Miss Kitty wouldn't speak to her for days afterwards.

She survived, though. She's now a 20 year old kitty, and not showing it yet.

20. You guys got nailed pretty hard by the side of Katrina.
She must be a very resourceful cat. Either that, or someone took pity on her and brought her in.

Either way, I'm very glad she survived. :)

I hope your mom won't do that again. :(

22. I didn't, I was in Austin, but my parents got it hard.
There weren't any neighbors nearby to take Miss Kitty in. She must have hunkered under a car or in a bush.

21. My boy cat would love that.
Edited on Fri Feb-06-09 02:45 AM by ThomCat
My apartment gets a little overheated sometimes because I'm the first apartment in line from the boilers. So if have cold hands and rub them into his fur he really enjoys it. :)

Besides, 30 degrees isn't all that cold if your hands were only out there for less than a minute. Hell, dogs and cats that live in places with real winter occasionally get petted with really cold hands. :P :scared:
