2. The man who made Bachelor Party will always get a pass from me
Say what you want about his newer films. Bachelor Party is one of the funniest films ever made.

that movie was overflowing with comedic goodness....lot of fun memories watching that with friends back when i was a kid...

3. I like the guy
Well. As much as anyone can "like" someone they've never met and aren't likely to meet anytime soon. I wasn't a fan during his Bosom Buddies days, but hell, I was 14. I was all about that little cutie, Peter Scolari. (No accounting for teenage girls' taste.)

4. What's not to like?
I think my two favorite performances are "Big" and "Philadelphia".

He's talented. He doesn't always play in movies that I like, but I recognize his talent.

And he seems pleasant enough, I mean, for someone I've never met.

7. Tom Hanks
I like Tom Hanks, but have been disappointed with the last
few movie roles he has chosen.

He's getting older, and his craft should be more refined.

I'd like to see him do something completely different
and unexpected.

He's talented enough, where I think he can pull off just
about any movie role.

It's just a matter of him picking the right role,
that really showcases his talent.

And I think that was one of his latest films. Just sayin'.

8. He's pretty good.
Although I'd love to see him play an evil diabolical serial killer or something else out of his type. I think the edgiest he ever got was a mob boss in Road to Perdition, and even then he was still the protagonist of the movie.

So I really can't say if I like him or not.

I do enjoy the majority of his work, though.

18. He was better as a bit actor in cheesy 80s comedies.
If forced, I'd rather sit through Mazes and Monsters than that dumb desert island movie.

I suspect that you have autographed copies of Meatballs and My Bodyguard for the very same reason.

30. Can't stand him, and
don't understand why he's popular. Not in the slightest.

If I held any classified secrets and were captured by the enemy, one screening of shit like Forrest Gump would make me spill every secret I knew.
