I heard he only has about 3 million for his campaign.

You could do that, but it would violate federal law.

Canadians CAN give money to American political candidates, but only if they're legal US residents. Canadians resident in Canada cannot.

If you want to contribute legally to getting Bush out of office, consider giving money to a 527 group, like Americans Coming Together or the MoveOn.org voter fund.

Only citizens can donate. If we didn't have that rule, Bush* would be taking donations from the House of Saud.

And giving money to an American for them to donate is illegal. It's known as "straw donations". That was one of the issues raised by Gore's "Buddhist fundraiser" scandal.

Hadley - now Gov of Miss.

Elaine got the Malay and Indo contribs and Hadley ran his boat up to the Red China coast so as to get money from corporations owned by the Red Army in the US.

Now Hadley was not illegal - it just was annoying to see the media cover it up.

And Elaine is married to a very powerful GOP legislator - and those folks do not get investigated - much less go to jail!

Poor Martha - she should never have sent that check to the DNC.

Unless you are a registered American citizen

I checked it out myself ..

went to johnkerry.com and when I did try to do the "contribute" thing - one of the qualifications is being an American Citizen

yes, there are illegal ways to get around that

but that would only hurt Kerry's potential to get the Texacutioner out of office . .

and I would hate to interfere in that poteintial . .
