What do I call espresso, with steamed foamed milk, and chocolate?
Mocha cappucchino? Or this a frappucino? Or just a mocha latte?

It's whole milk, so I know it's not a "breve".

What the hell are these things, and what's an easy way to remember them?

Here's what it looks like (the foam kind of died in the long pause and few sips I took before deciding to take a photo):

4. Just a mocha?
So then, what'a an espresso with steamed and foamed milk?

there isn't much chocolate in this, just some sprinkles on the top. Not integrated into the liquid at all.

6. hmmmm
Is the milk extra frothy and seperate from the coffee? If so, then it's a cappucino. If the milk and coffee are generally well mixed, you have a late. When you described the chocolate, I assumed it was mixed in like a mocha.

13. Yes,
the milk was steamed and foamed separately, then poured on top of the espresso, though I have a cheap little espresso maker, sort of the freeper equivalent (smart enough to make espresso, but you wouldn't want to trust it with anyone that required independant thinking) of espresso machines. So, although the milk was foamed, it wasn't ALL foamed.

Cappucino is espresso with frothed milk, right?

And latte is espresso with just steamed milk?

And cafe Americano is coffee with an equal part of non-steamed milk, right?

So what's a frappucino, then? Is taht a legitimate drink, or a Starbuck's invention?

And then what's espresso with non-steamed non-foamed milk?

Too many different terms, and I can never remember them all.

14. ok
It sounds like you made a cappucino of some kind. In a latte, the milk and coffee are mixed. A frappucino is an iced latte or mocha that's been put in a blender to make a sort of milk shake.

16. Perhaps it would best be calleda failed cappucino
Edited on Sat Mar-06-04 11:14 PM by Rabrrrrrr
Since it was partially mixed, but not intentionally.

And intent is what it's all about, isn't it?

Thanks for the help!

5. Cap with chocolate garnish?
If one gets big foam, sturdy, one can really load the top down with elbow-cramping sprinkling of chocolate. I mean, one could, but it would be wrong.

21. Do you have TP for my bunghole?
I need TP for my bunghole.

I almost passed out from laughing when I saw that movie. I really and truly had a few times when I was actually scared because I couldn't breathe. Probably the funniest - in terms of just plain laugh out loud - movies I've ever seen. Other movies are more clever in the humor, and more intellecually and subtely done (like Mel Brooks or Airplane or Monty Python) but no movie, except almost South Park, has made me laugh so heartily and almost death-bringingly.

And do a full cavity search!

without saying anything, except tonight I said "crap" when I dropped something on the floor. So that drink in the picture really and truly IS the one I was drinking.

:-)

And no, the chocolate isn't IN the drink, it's just a light dusting on the top of it.

Mocha will do, take it from this ex-Seattleite.

It's pretentious to call it a mochacino.

Great place. And I mean that seriously. Had the pleasure of being under the executive council, and i have to say, Dick is an incredbiile CEO. I was totally blown away by how well - far beyond well - he handled our transition after 9-11. Truly amazing.
