I am home. Surgery is done
am home. I slept for a couple of hours. The bleeding is pretty bad and I guess they had to use more stitches than then thought. I also am sore and swollen at the IV site

11. Wish I'd seen this earlier 'cause

steaks can be put in the blender. I'm series! When I had all my wisdom teeth out, I put all sorts of regular food in the blender. I mean, Jell-o gets old fast!
Glad you're well.

14. Tell hubby to fire up the grill again tomorrow and

when he asks you how you want your steak, say "Pureed."

But stay away from Doritos. A couple of days after I got my stitches out, I was eating Doritos and stabbed myself where one of my wisdom teeth used to be. Ouch. I guess I should have put the Doritos in the blender, but by that time I was eating regular food and who'd want to eat Dorito dust?

13. My turn next week...
They're going to bore new blow holes in my skull.

It seems my schnoz, big though it is, it currently ineffective.

16. Oh, my friend, my sympathies are with you.
I had three surgeries in seven years and it was the toughest thing I ever faced. The best advice that I can give you is to rest, take it easy, give yourself plenty of time to heal. Listen to your doctor. Let people do things for you. You deserve it and you'll never have a better excuse... ;)

Hope that you're feeling much better very soon. So glad to hear that you're home and well enough to return to DU... :-)

Rhiannon
