How do you get a cell phone pic onto a PC ?

I have my motorola razer hooked up to the computer , the pc (running microsoft office, not vista) did some software installation and finished...... and then nothing............. I have it hooked up with the jpg stored and captured on the cellphone, but have no idea how to get it onto the PC? There is no promting, nothing. Id this somethign you have to prompt from teh phone. I've tried everything I thought.....

My macook would have just asked me if I wanted to down load the pic.

Any help is appreciated

4. If you can send text messages, it's easy.

Instead of typing in a name or cell phone number, type in your e-mail address.

Then send a picture text to your e-mail.

But this is still inefficient. I should be able to hook it up to the PC and tell the PC to download it. Boom. I blame Bill Gates.

7. You have to get the right software, or use Bluetooth.

Motorola sells a software suite that lets you download with a USB cable. Or you can use Bluetooth. Either will cost you about $30. Here's a link explaining it.

Or you can do what I did and buy a good Nokia phone--they have better software included with the phones.

on the price for that Motorola software suite, when I got my Razr, it was about twice that.

it's a wireless USB Bluetooth adaptor, I think I gave about 30 bucks or so for mine. I have a razr V3 and you cannot transfer pics through a USB cable to the PC without the Motorola software. Motorola wants you to buy their "phone tools" or whatever they call it, but this is cheaper and just as effective.
