What are they working on, levees, trails, some hydro project?

3. The California levee system has a rich history, especially down here in the Delta.
Much of the farmland is below sea level, and many of the levees were built using Chinese laborers who remained after the intercontinental railway work and the Gold Rush.

The little town of Locke is an authentic remnant of these people.







I try to get over for dinner at Al the Wop's at least once a year.

half of it is just junk the other is just plain wrong:rofl:

How do I know this? I have my ways. }( My favorite example was the prehistoric fire pit description I read once that was located on a roadside that was clearly recent fill. I happened to know that a car had burnt up on that spot a few years ago. :o Common sense is not taught in field school. :crazy:
