What kind of fuckstick would sue his own record label over 'integrity'
Edited on Tue Mar-03-09 05:25 PM by Symarip
After he decides to do a half-assed reunion and include pictures of Paris Hilton in the liner notes of his new, super shitty CD?

I'll give you a hint who it is - it's not the dude on the right:

Looking good, Billy.

1. That's a nice "drunk Russian sailor on crystal meth" look for Billy.
Having Paris tugging on his finger like it was a gram of Afghani black tar really makes the look though, IMHO.

2. PARIS?? Please don't insult Courtney Love like that!!
That is not Paris Hilton; that is Courtney Love; Kurt Cobain's widow and the lead singer of the band Hole.
In case you didn't know..

His last words might have been, 'please don't point that gun at me.'

That private investigator dude manufactured that myth out of whole cloth just to make a buck. Needs his ass kicked every which way til Sunday.

Then I wish I was a fuckstick, too!

21. Nobody called James Iha a fuckstick.
Not that I think he's a guitar god, but you definitely cannot be talking about baldy up there.

And oh my, have you heard Iha's latest? With that Frankenstein of a so-called supergroup?

22. All due respect to Jimmy Iha....
....but it was Billy himself who did most of the standout guitarwork in the recordings.

Soma, Starla, the opening chords to Today, etc., that was all Corgan.

Iha did some good music/lyric work though.

He's decided not to put out his music for the masses (read: you) to listen to anymore. What a wonderful guy!

25. He's right.
MP3s have killed the artistry of putting out great albums. People don't look for great albums anymore, they look for a couple of songs here and there. It's sad, but it's true. Not just a Pumpkins thing.

30. I love a great album as much as anyone, but who can blame music buyers?
Shelling out close to twenty bucks for a CD that contains two or three good songs got old...quick!

The record companies and artists fucked themselves.

33. Except for bands who managed to put more than just 2-3 good songs per album.
But I guess the crappy ruined that for the good. Sucks.

35. Exactly. It seems that the bad albums far outweighed the good ones.
It sucks for the bands that can put out a whole album of good songs. I would much rather buy an album than hunt for songs I like, but the good ones are so few and far between.

29. Yay. The Billy Corgan Experience is back
I don't know why he even bothered with the other losers in the band anyway. On record, it was 99% him and Jimmy. The other two were there for the live dates and/or window dressing.

And Billy Corgan suing over "integrity"? That's a little like GW Bush suing over honesty.

32. The other two were there so that the band looked like a freakin' Benneton ad
"Oh look...a Japanese guy with blue hair...and an artsy chick!"

Corgan always said that Iha and Wretsky didn't play on the records because he wanted the records to sound as good as possible.
Oh really?
Well, why didn't you hire a singer then, Baldy?

He definitely should've hired a "real" singer too. But who would sell their soul to sing Billee's proto-emo lyrics?
