1. Your new diet plan doesn't allow Coke?
Dang it, BV, that's an abomination!

3. LOL No diet I can think of
allows The Real Thing -- not one that would benefit me, anyway.

I don't start 'til the 16th and I'm trying not to go hog wild. I did manage this morning to cut up some fruit and serve it w/ eggs for breakfast -- instead of bacon.

2. FYI
Diet Rite has some zero-carb sodas in interesting flavors, including orange and tangerine and strawberry, that are pretty good. I don't suggest switching straight to them from Coke -- drink only water for a couple of days -- but if your plan allows some freedom with zero-carb, zero-sugar beverages, they give the same "feeling" as Coke products, and they're pretty good, too.

I'm rooting for you on your plan!! I am doing Atkins for eating and Body-for-Life for exercise, and I've lost 25 pounds so far!! :D

4. Funny you should mention Diet Rite.
I picked up a twelve-pack of White Grape-flavored this morning. I had already loaded the cart with Diet Coke & Caffeine-Free Diet Coke, along w/ generic diet grapefruit, cherry lemon-lime, black cherry, orange, and plain 'ol club soda, so when I saw the Diet Rite I almost passed it up. Then I saw that they use Splenda instead of Nutrasweet -- that sold me.
Thanks for the advice. You keep on keepin' on, girl! I am proud of you!!

5. My problem is the salt.
If you had kids it was always watch the salt until I got so used to un-salted things all these drinks taste like salt and my feet swell if I have more than one. So I gave up all soft drinks because of salt. Crazy. For about 45 years and some times I can just die for one. I bet I have lass than 5 a year.
