1. they say bad things come in 3's
so if that saying is correct, you are past it and due only good things.

You've had your 3.

Glad you are okay (I assume you are since you are posting). Sorry about needing a new car -

6. There were 2 smaller ones as well
I am fine. Wasn't even in the car. Thats the second time I have had an Auto I owned (hopefully, I hate repairs) totaled when I was not even in it.

7. I wish I could afford that
I suspect I am looking more in the 03 domestic price range.

Then again, assuming I get paid for my car rather than offered a fixup(likely frame damage, rear end jacked) maybe I should consider a newer car. Whats that pretty car run?

22. About 21-22K
But I leased it rather than buying it. Payment in the low 300s for 3 years. Nothing down.

11. Fortunantly for me
Its my mother in law, not myself. Though she just happened to be borrowing my car, after totaling hers about 3 weeks back. the one she just got after totaling her other one a few months back. At least this one doesn't seem to have been her fault.

23. Not if all the accidents weren't your fault...
... at least not in NC.

Goes only on claims. We've had 4 accidents in the last 3 years between me and my wife - two apiece. We caused one each ourselves (me: I ran off the road, wife: rear-ended someone when brakes failed). Other drivers caused one to each of us: (both cases: other people ran redlights and went into side of our vehicles. My wife's van was repairable, my Focus died that day).

So we got 6 insurance points between us, and our rates are still very manageable thank you very much.

Mark.

24. Good for you
A lot of companies would raise the rates/drop even if the accidents weren't your fault.

Keep your insurance carrier!

16. My BIL is 6'2 and finds it roomy.
He also has back problems from a lifetime of commercial fishing and found the seats comfortable enough to drive a straight 13 hours.

17. here is a website i use when i'm looking for cars, i only use it for spec and comparisons
http://www.edmunds.com/sedan/index.html?tid=edmunds.s.zipentry.sedan..1.*

go there and then you can click your price range and then you can compare specs on a whole bunch of cars on one page, it makes looking a lot easier, they even have specs on how much room there is in the trunk and in the cabin. I love specs, yes i'm a dork.
