Good morning Lounge
How are you today?

So I went out for dinner with some friends last night. Of course we had wine with our food. And then some more wine. And another glass .... *ahem* I can't say I am really fit this morning  But it was fun :D

1. Mornin', MissHoneychurch!
Is it raining there, too? We're into our fifth (or is the sixth?) day of rain. x(

I love that photo! Here's the newest pastel painting, based on a Suicide Girls photo.

9. Oddly enough, I was quite sick to my stomach for the afternoon

Not sure what it was, but something I ate for lunch really got me x(

BUT, my stepdad brought over a spectacular bottle of wine, he and little MB had Indian food, and I had mashed potatoes and eggs :D. In retrospect, that was the perfect day! My simple meal made me have some good moments of reflection ;)

And now I get to have that fancy dinner on Friday night, when I don't have to worry about getting little MB to school the next day :woohoo:

:9

The restaurant is French bistro style, but now it is in a hotel, so they do have less complex choices for the not so adventerous types. Not sure what I will have other than the crab cake appetizer.... That is a given. Last time I was there I had red snapper and it was scrumptious!

Sounds like you had a fabulous time with your friends. I think you're tired because you didn't get enough sleep. It's got nothing to do with a few glasses of wine. ;)

So you're gearing up for guests this weekend? Isn't it a great feeling to show off your new place?

I just looked for recipes in English. It is interesting. They ask for olives, which isn't in my "German" recipe at all.

This is close to what my recipe looks like

29. Good morning MHC! "How am I" is a very interesting question right now..
I kinda overextended my authority as a Manager
to do a favor for a regular customer last week, and
it's looking like that whole thing went south in a big way.

I might could get fired tomorrow.

Add that to the fact that I kinda accidentally set my car ablaze
Monday morning, and it's shaping up to be a week to remember.

But I've led a fairly interesting life, and I've had a lot of weeks
that were worth remembering.

If I can get to 8:00 Friday without being arrested and handcuffed,
engaging an armed assailant in hand-to-hand combat,
or seeing a Reubenesque lady in all her butt-nekked backlit glory,
this week won't even make my top 20.

So, all in all, I gotta say that things are going fairly well.
